7 Tips to unwind your mind during the festive season (published 20/12/18)

Do you find it difficult to really unwind this time of year when you’re supposedly supposed to? Especially when constantly being surrounded by demanding family and kids, financial stress and all of the festive craziness? So much business.. we often get even more stressed out and exhausted whilst on holiday!

1. Keep it simple. Have a laid-back Christmas. Don’t do too much every day and just try to be present. It does not have to be perfect. And take a tech break.. Just be.

2. Let go of negative self-talk and rather celebrate all that you have achieved this year.

3. Let go of critisising and judging others. Be kind. We are all different! Rather be curious about differences, and remember that your opinion or viewpoint is not always asked for nor necessary.. Silence can be golden.

4. Get out into nature. It does wonders for our overall sense of well-being and connects and grounds us.

5. Have conversations about ideas and dreams rather than about other people and things, and try to listen more than what you talk.

6. Be a kid again! Body surf, sing and dance with your kids! Be free..

7. Laugh a lot! Laugh often!! Laugh at yourself!! It’s good for you!

Train your mind to do these things and you might feel more refreshed and rested after your holiday. Enjoy🌝
